Join us in welcoming local author Andrea Beatriz Arango! Her novel Iveliz Explains It All hits bookstore shelves on September 13th and is published by Random House Children's.
Told in verse, the novel follows 12-year-old Puerto Rican Iveliz as she navigates friendship, school, and her mental health. Kirkus Reviews calls the book, "Superbly woven; a bold, deep portrayal of a young voice who needs to be heard".
The author will read a selection from her book, answer audience questions, and sign copies. New Dominion Bookshop will be onsite to sell copies of the book.
